Welcome to Newman Indexing! My name is Nancy Newman, and I've
been a professional indexer for the past 25+ years. I received my
training at Little, Brown and Company, in the Medical Division, before
becoming a freelancer.
I've worked for some of the world's top medical book publishers. I've
also indexed books on nursing, allied health, psychology, management,
and science and both college and el-hi textbooks.
I use Cindex software and have extensive experience indexing from XML
tags. I am a member of the American Society for Indexing (ASI).
By creating a clear and thorough index, I can add value to your book by
enabling the readers to have easy access to the information they seek.
A good index is a strong selling point for any textbook, academic book,
